Buyers, it could be as easy as 1, 2, and 3!
Work with a Carolina Green Real Estate Agent and we will help you through the process.
Step 1. Talk with lenders to see who is currently offering the best rates and most appealing mortgage terms. Our resources page offers our recommendations, however, if you have someone in mind or a bank you already do business with be sure to check with them as well.
Step 2. Get pre-qualified
Pre-Qualified – This is an in-depth analysis, done by a lender, in which you get qualified for the maximum amount a bank or credit union will lend to you. Generally if you are pre-qualified by a good lender it is likely you will receive a loan. When making an offer on a property it is extremely helpful to be pre-qualified. Listing agents sometimes won’t accept offers without a pre-qualification letter.
Step 3. Create a priority list. In order to optimize our search and find the best potential properties, it is helpful to write out (in order) the most important features in a property for you.
